Halmstads BK signs new defender from Ghana

Halmstads BK has signed a new defender from Ghana. Ofuso-Ayeh was previously a teammate of Halmstads BK player Joseph Baffo at Eintracht Braunschweig.

Who is Ofuso-Ayeh?

Ofuso-Ayeh has previously been part of the English club Wolverhampton without making a single first-team appearance. He was loaned out to Hansa Rostock and Würzburger Kickers for two spells.

Why did he choose Halmstads BK?

Halmstads BK manager Magnus Haglund has been impressed by the 29-year-old. – I was particularly impressed by his speed and game understanding, how quickly he adapted to our way of playing, says Haglund.

What happens now?

Ofuso-Ayeh has been training with the club for two weeks and played three half-games. He has been struggling with an injury since March 2019, which has meant he has not played a single match since then – until a substitute appearance against Falkenberg two weeks ago.
